Lily and Daddy had so much fun decorating the gingerbread house! Surprisingly, the house came pre-assembled in the kit we purchased, so there was no building this year - just decorating. And a lot of playing in the process! Dylan thought they were making a mess, so he got out the broom. Gingerbread houses will be a special Christmas memory from this year for another reason besides all the fun of decorating... Whenever Lily sees a house decorated with Christmas lights around the windows, roof, and front door, she gets SO excited and tells us it's a "gingerbread house!!!"
It's a little funny, though, that Lily doesn't like any of the candies in the decorating kit, and she also doesn't like the taste of gingerbread. Good thing we didn't really plan on eating the candy creation anyway!
