Lily just got Candy Land a few weeks ago, and she really enjoys playing the game. She has grown up so much, to be able to play a real boardgame! (Although sometimes she does get sidetracked or impatient and the game ends early, but hey - at least she's learning the basic ideas of the game.) Little things like this remind me all the time that she really is a "big girl" now. Sometimes it makes me a little sad, but it's also so much fun to be able to have real conversations with her and do new fun things like this.
