Schlitterbahn

We went to Schlitterbahn Waterpark for the day!

The lazy river wasn't really very lazy - it was like a big wave pool that went around in a circle.  It was really fun!  The waves put both Dylan and Callie to sleep in the tubes.

Dylan liked the small water slides, splashing in the kiddie pool, and riding in a tube on the river.

Some of the double tubes at Schlitterbahn have "child seats" with flat bottoms in the front, so Lily was able to go down the big tube slides as long as she went with a grownup.  She absolutely loved those slides, and I think she went down them with all of us at least once - most of us many times in a row!  We all got tired of climbing the stairs up to the top of the slides with her.

During the "winter" season, only the indoor part of the park is open, but we found that we still had plenty to do to keep us busy all day, and we were all worn out by the end!
