Lily and Dylan were both getting tired by the time it got dark for trick or treating. Dylan only went with us around our cul de sac, and then he stayed home with Daddy to hand out candy. Lily and I went all the way around the block. She didn't want to walk the whole way though, she said her little legs were getting tired! But she was very excited about the large amount of candy she got in her pumpkin bucket.

Reptile Show
Lily and Daddy went to the reptile show with our friend Mike. They had a lot of fun, especially because Lily was able to pet many of the animals. She liked the "great big turtles," and the snake in the picture is actually purple, although the color doesn't show up well in the photo. Lily was such a big-girl at this event with Daddy... She needed to take a snack and a drink with her like usual, but since Dylan wasn't going with them she couldn't put her things in the diaper bag like we normally would. She carried her own purse (including her spending money, which thankfully was not enough to purchase any reptiles) the entire time they were at the reptile show! Daddy told me she wanted to get a frog. And a snake. And one of everything else on exhibit!
Halloween Town
We went to Town Square's Halloween Town event this year. We arrived about halfway through the scheduled time period for the event, but the stores were already out of candy! So we decided to get some frozen yogurt from Swirll. Lily also got a couple of Halloween bat rings that Daddy put on her fingers for her.

Kids Outside with Riding Toys
Check out this video of Dylan riding this zebra riding toy! It is hilarious to watch him walk with the ride-on toys - he doesn't actually sit down on the seats. He just walks with the toy between his legs, holding onto the handles so it still goes forward. Lily was being very sweet to Dylan while we were outside, helping him keep his zebra out of the grass.
Boo!
We went to the MOMS Club Fall Festival, which was held at Sugar Land Memorial Park this year. The weather was cool and breezy enough for long sleeves! I tried hard to get a picture of the kids together with both of them in their outfits that say "Boo," but this was the best I could do. Dylan was not interested in sitting still for a photo! Then later in the afternoon, we played outside at home. In the first few pictures of Lily by herself, you can see that I was telling her to show me her teeth when she smiles for the picture. Silly girl! Anyone recognize the dress? This is the third year she's worn it, and I'm thinking it will work next year too!

Lily's Costume Parade at School
Lily and her classmates were in the costume parade at school! I was able to snap a quick picture of Lily on her way by, and there is another one of the kids after they went back to their classroom. If you look closely in the second picture you can see Lily sitting on the floor in the very middle of the photo. There were extra kids in the class that morning; I think they had combined classes because of the parade or something.

Dining Room Drapes
None of these pictures really show the color of the drapes very accurately, but this was the best I could do. I love how they turned out! Thank you Dusty for hanging them for me!

Zoo Boo
We went to Zoo Boo with Meredith and Stephen this year. Lily decorated a little pumpkin and trick-or-treated at a few candy stations throughout the zoo.
