Lily's first day of school was the day after Labor Day. She was very excited to go to school! This year she is in Pre-K four days a week at the same great preschool she attended last year. We took plenty of pictures to mark the occasion!
Dylan didn't understand all the excitement of Lily's first day of school... Until we left the building after dropping her off, that is! He repeated over and over again, "Lily school? Mommy, Lily school?!" Once he figured out that we would be leaving her there, he was a lot more curious about the whole process. He was very happy to go back and pick her up that afternoon! He definitely misses her when she's at school.
She wore her shades into the building.
We managed to get a picture of all three of us in the lobby before we headed back to the classroom.
After she put her things away, she sat right down to begin working on a puzzle.
And we celebrated her first day with a chocolate cupcake after school!
