Paper Towels

Aquarium

We visited the Downtown Aquarium for Daddy's birthday.  Everyone had a blast!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

We celebrated with a peaches and cream birthday cake that Mommy made. Happy Birthday Daddy! We love you!

Baby Bird

We've had so much fun watching the birds in our back yard this spring... They built a nest early this spring, and the babies were born just before Easter.  This little guy was hopping around in the back yard for a day or so while he was learning to fly.  He liked the shelter of our patio table.

We haven't seen the birds in a week or so, so we're hoping they're all safe and sound.

We had a fantastic Easter morning, celebrating that HE IS RISEN!

Lily was excited to find her dyed Easter eggs hidden throughout the kitchen by the Easter bunny.  Then we had breakfast and suddeny noticed the Easter bunny had hidden some eggs outside in our backyard too!  After hunting for the eggs in the backyard, Lily discovered a scavenger hunt clue inside one of her eggs.  She followed clues to her kitchen in the playroom, where she found a new movie!

Kite

We've flown the Nemo kite a couple of times before, but it's been awhile. Lily was so cute today because she wanted to do it herself, and she did a great job!

Easter Eggs and Angel Cake

Easter Egg Hunt

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt at church was lots of fun! Even Dylan got in on the action, finding his very first Easter egg! Memorial Hermann Sugar Land co-sponsors the community-wide event with our church, so Topper the giraffe was there too! Lily was excited to see him, but she had no intention of touching him, let alone giving him a hug.

Another Day at the Park

We spent the afternoon at Mary Jo Peckham Park.  We only caught one tiny little fish, but we had a great time!  The playground nearby was loads of fun.
