Dusty said my post made it sound like we were over-reacting, so let me clarify: She was running a 102.6 degree temperature, consistently spiking up again before it was time for her next dose of medicine.
Lily spiked a fever Tuesday evening, just before dinnertime.
It lasted about 24 hours, but today she's back to normal! You can click on the picture to make it bigger.
We're so glad it took 20 months for Lily to get her first real fever. It's a good reminder, though, that we'll have to be careful again this fall and winter to protect her from too many cold and flu bugs. She's doing so very well, we would hate for her to develop a pneumonia and set her lung growth and development back.
